All chilled out February 16th, 2009

Today has been a really good day, I woke up thinking that it was going to be a nightmare as I had a hundred and one things to do but then I took andy to work and put roxette on in the car and by the time I got back home my mood had changed! You can’t help but turn the music up and sing along to roxette! Anyway I got home and made a decision to get everything done. I called my accountant and made a meeting for 2pm then I called my day spa and booked in for 11.30am :) I was determined to chill out! It’s now 4pm and everything I needed to do today is done and I even managed to squeeze in an hour of pampering for myself! To top it off my meeting with my accountant went really well and I found out I had paid him too much and I got a very nice refund, it’s not offten you come out of a meeting with your accountant happy!

All that is left to do is to pick my hubby up from work. I think we might just have to stop off at the pub on the way home for a drink and something to eat as I can’t be bothered to cook.

Hubby and I decided last night that we were going to have a clear out and sell a load of our stuff on eBay! We have made it into a challenge, were going to try and make £1000 by selling all our old junk!! I wonder how long it will take us.

Temple bar hotel February 1st, 2009

I flew over to dublin on Thursday to see my hubby and we decided to swap hotels to one that was closer to everything so we checked into the temple bar hotel.

Do not stop at this hotel!!!!!!!

Its completely ruined our holiday! The room we were in (321) was above a nightclub! I mean a full blown nightclub not just a bar in the hotel. The noise kept us awake till 3am every morning which ment we only managed a few hours sleep before breakfast and by the afternoon we had to go back to the hotel for a couple of hours kip as we were both shattered!! We missed out on doing so much because we were so tired all the time! I’m currently lying in bed listening to the noise at the moment unable to sleep! We phoned reception and ask to be moved but they refused. I think a charge back on my credit card will be needed if they don’t come up with any form of compensation tomorrow!! They didn’t once say anything about the nightclub to us!!! The website says it’s a relaxing place to stay, I would love to know which bit was relaxing!!!
